You've all been super helpful.

This auction is really confusing to me though.

This is only for one side of the car? It says 'Our rotors are sold as a pair, 1 for left and 1 for right to ensure the airflow is right'. And in the auction details it also says "Placement on Vehicle: Right, Front, Rear, Left" So I'm kind of confused as to what I would be getting here. Arent rotors installed as one rotor per wheel? So is this for all 4 wheels because its mis leading to me that it says 'front and rear'. And then also says this 'This auction includes a BRAND NEW set of - 2 FRONT and 2 REAR - Ace Performance cross drilled Canada brand rotor'. I guess I could email them to confirm.

Also what's the difference between 'drilled' rotors and just plain ones?

I'd rather go with a US seller and a more clear auction.. what about this one? Comes with the brakes, and its that power stop brand that was mentioned earlier.

I just googled. There is one near me. They want $26.99 each for economy rotors and $49.77 for premium.

The ebay link I gave you has two sets front/rear and each set has it's place on the car because they are drilled to improve braking and cooling.

A.) drilled rotors crack easier, i like just the basic slots for fronts only, and b.) the carquest was on an account so its probably cheaper

either upgrade to cobra/mach brakes or just get the basics

Never had any problems with mine. Bad thing about slots is they eat up the pads quicker.

If interested, the seller I purchased the Power Stop rotors and pads from goes by the name of: brakemotive76
I purchased from them after reading the reviews of the same parts on other Mustangs.
Right now it's $161.00 for all 4 rotors and pads for all 4 wheels.
When you find the seller type in the last two digits of your cars year and then Mustang (ex:97 Mustang)
Good Luck.

Thanks. Right now I'm focusing on the front rotors. The back rotors are not as bad and I really dont even have the money for the front but they're pretty bad and past 'turning' so I need to get those replaced.

So so far its been said that the slots/drilled ones eat up the brake pads faster and crack easier?

What about these?

Do some research on the differences between cross drilled/slotted and the others. I haven't had any issues with pad wear at all. I found these to have the best braking/cooling ability. I haven't had the ones you were looking at on any of my vehicles. So I don't know.

Do not buy drilled rotors, that is nothing more than a gimmick. Slotted will help a bit with cooling (although that isn't the main purpose of the slots), but drilled doesn't.

With that said, you don't need slotted rotors for daily driving. Sure if you were going to be going to the track with the car you would want them, but then you would also want Cobra brakes, or something better.

Seeing as you have said you are on a tight budget my advice would be to go www.rockauto.com and buy the best brand name rotors you can afford. For daily driving you won't see a performance increase from basic rotors and slotted ones as you won't be putting enough heat into them to make a difference.
