Advice on Upgrading to dual exhaust
I'm planning on upgrading to dual exhaust but I'm not sure what would be the best way to do it. Is this any good?

I'm more interested in the HP gain than the way it sounds.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You won't gain 25 horsepower just saying. That won't be the best sounding V6 setup, but it will definitely outflow the stock exhaust and you should feel a slightt increase in power.
In my opinion the best sounding exhaust and best for performance is
longtube headers, mac h-pipe with welded in high flow cats, and catback of your choice with a chambered muffler like flowmaster 40 series.
One member here gained about a second in his 1/4 mile time and 4 seconds in the trap mph with just this setup over stock and a tune-up if my mind serves me right.

No, this system does not fit well at all, kind of cheapish and sounds like a lawnmower. (No Offense If Someone Has It-I'm Sure Yours Sounds Fine)
If you have the cash, you can do something similar to what was mentioned above by going to some place like mustangsunlimited.com, stangmods.com, efimustangparts.com and pick out a set of mid pipes, mufflers, and tailpipes.
Or you can purchase two mufflers, and a set of 99-04 GT tailpipes and take those to a real repair shop that welds and have them put it on for you. You can go to YouTube and listen to the different mufflers until you hear what you want your car to be. Some tried, true and tested options are Flowmaster 40 OR 44, Thrush Welded, Borla, MAC, and my personal favorite for the V6 Mustang is the Cherry Bomb "Pro" or "Extreme" which are both chambered.
Any questions, just ask. Someone here will set you straight.

In regards to HP gains, If you plan on staying naturally aspirated then get 2.25" piping put on. If you plan to get a blower or turbos then you have to install a 2.5" system.
The ultimate HP gain would be a set of longtube headers, high flow cats, a mid-pipe "X","H", or divorced duals, racing mufflers, and then your over the axle tail pipes that our cars use. You can substitute any number of high flow mufflers that are made in there. I have Flowmaster's racing mufflers on my car and like 'em. (Flowmaster 10 Series Mufflers)

Well Robb is wrong about the sound of Pypes systems he is right about the fit. You need to do some major work to get it to fit right.
I would go with Long Tube headers, High Flow cats, a quality X Pipe, and Flowmaster 40's. That should gain you the most HP. But remember the exhaust isn't going to gain you a ton.

I say OP just weld in some magnaflow mufflers, wont be loud but wont make your **** sound ricey if you dont have real cash to drop on an exhaust.

Personally I don't like Pypes, I've heard enough of them to just not like their mufflers on a V6 or V8 and I find their quality to be rather lackluster for the price.
As stated you won't gain much power, probably 4-7 rwhp depending on your setup, muffler choice, etc.
A lot of people are going to recommended Flowmaster, Thrust Weld, or Summit Racing brand mufflers for your sixer as they are all multi-chambered mufflers. But listen to clips on you tube and our own exhaust sticky and see for yourself what you like.
