Default Misfire and fuel line advice?

I have a 96 mustang 3.8 5 speed. Car runs good while driving but misses at idle. The previous owner replaced plugs and wires but didn't solve the problem. CEL light is on, my mechanic pulled the codes and they showed a missfire in cylinder 2 and 3, and the engine is running lean. The cat on bank 2 also showed up and he said that my fuel pump had some sort of code for low voltage. My fuel line is also leaking on the return line right at the flange near where the fuel pump is. The mechanic thinks this may be related to the cat for some reason.

He recommanded trying a compression test to see if its the head gasket or the valves. Are there any suggestions or ideas on what the issue might be? Also where can I find a fuel line? What year would fit my car? My mechanic told me that they are discontinued by ford and no place seems to sell them, eBay and craigslist doesn't have anything but rubber lines. He wants to make one custom but it won't be cheap. So what do I do?

Is there a fuel leak IN the fuel line? If not, I don't see why you would need to replace it. Could you post a picture of the leak?

The cat-converter being clogged/bad would cause your car to stall from idle, but I don't see how your fuel pump has anything to do with that.

Can't get a pic but it's leaking at the end of the line where it flare. As for the cat; it's not an issue caused by the leak. But what would cause the misfires.

The misfires could be cause be several things. Including, but not limited to, (i sound like a sales guy) spark plugs, spark plug wires, electronics, fuel delivery problem. Since you say the wires and plugs are new, I would say that fuel leak might have something to do with it.

There are generic fuel lines sold on ebay (big surprise) they are aluminum and can be cut to size as need. Just make sure you buy the ends to go with the lines and that you buy the correct size line.

Here is a link so one (note:i do not know that this is the correct size you need. just an example)

Did you resolve this? Did the idle problem have anything to do with a vacuum leak w/the egr lines?
Also, it seems difficult for people to Seafoam the upper intake properly, its as easy as you see on youtube. Fuel filters need replaced evry other oil change or about 15k miles. Do not place gadget plugs in the car either.

Not quite. I'm gonna try a compression test at the end of the week so I'll repost then.

Sorry about the long response. I finally got around to checking it out and after doing the compression test; cyl1 165 psi, cyl2 115 with a slow increase, cyl3 160, cyl4 170, cyl5 160, cyl6 160. I put oil in 2 and compression built up fast to 160. Any suggestions?
