Sooooo what if instead of putting the M90 on the 4.2 and "possibly" not passing smog I went for a P&P split port swap with intake spacer???? I couldnt possible see a way that I would fail smog as its just a "newer" 3.8....I know I wouldnt be putting out as much power but I will sacrifice power for piece of mind right now. Sorry ESG I know I keep going in circles....anyone know of possible power output number on that set up?

yeah, besides, you already have the m90. i dont know how youd be able to just sell it when its right there

Well ESG has helped me make up my mind. Im going to go with the M90 (im thinking install will be in early October when I have my next paid week of vacation) and then Ill start the process of having to jump through the hoops that are California smog regulations. Still looking for a harmonic balancer for the new motor as I am going from external balance to internal. Any links for said parts? Also, what do I do with the flywheel?
