exhaust help
for some reason i cant find a catted h-pipe made for a 99 v6 mustang, so i figured if i bought an off road h-pipe and added catts to it i could still get that h-pipe sound and pass testing. but before i put out a few hundred dollars can some one tell me if all these parts will fit together?

if you have any suggestions for different parts or anything please let me know, im just trying to keep the cost down as much as possible, thank you in advance for any feedback.

Alright man, there is not necessarily an h pipe just for v6's, the gt h pipes will work, becuz when you use an h pipe all you do is cut and then weld it in so this h pipe would work i am pretty sure, although its a shorty

GT mid pipes will not work without a LOT of modification. Mid pipes are designed to bolt in from the manifolds to the cat back without cutting and welding.
Due to the firing order of the pushrod V6, there is no variation in sound between X/H/split dual exhaust. Tone will come from motor build, cats, muffler style and pipe diameter.
Really, there is no real power gain going to a true dual exhaust vs just doing a Y pipe back set up unless you are pushing 350 hp or so. I can show you several kits that will bolt up in an hour or so if you chose that route.
If you REALLY want the H pipe, I highly suggest the Mac H pipe (comes 2 1/2"), then weld in cats. Personally I like that Magnaflow "Hi Flow" versions.

+1000 to what Matt said.
The GT Midpipe can be modified to fit if you have your muffler shop do it, doing it on your own will be a very large undertaking if Exhaust is not your day job.
When I had my O/R X modded they said it was straight forware, but a factory catted mid might be more of a problem because the first cat is so close to the flange.

Personally, I'd just go Y pipe back for now. If you get to the point later that you need to open up the exhaust more, take that step then. If you take out too much restriction, it will actually cost you hp right now.
