2004 Mustang Dies Intermittently When Idling
I've got a 2004 V6 3.8L Mustang that dies when you pull up to stop. This happens maybe 1 out of 20 times. When you put the car back into neutral it fires right back up with no problems. I've been unable to find any rhyme or reason to the stall outs. So far I've cleaned the mass airflow sensor, checked all fuel and electrical fittings. When the car is cold it starts perfect every time. I'm at a loss on this one so any help is appreciated!

What does it usually idle at in rpms?
The other day i was driving along and hit one of those work covers...the big 1 inch thick piece of metal sheets that put over work holes...and my cat instantly died. I shoved it in neutral and it fired right back up and hasn't done it since.
Had a Cavalier once that would die every time i stopped. If it didn't die and you pumped the brakes then it would. never knew why. Wife took it back and got something else.
