Hey everyone, i just bought a 2000 v6 mustang, i wanted to put dual exhausts then side exhausts came to mind. Anyone know where to buy them or any specs on it? Should I go dual exhausts or side?

Side can be dual. Spin Tech makes one of the best bolt on cat backs for the V6. Magnaflow also has a V6 cat back. Stage3motorsports offers both for the cheapest price. If nothing else, get the mufflers and have a local shop bend some pipe and add tips for you. The Spin Tech 333SCS mufflers are what you'll want to look into.

I don't think you will find a bolt on side exhaust kit for a V6 or V8 actually. Your best bet is to go to a custom exhaust shop. If you are really set on the side exhaust, I would assume that it would be cheaper than running new pipes all the way to the bumper on a V6.

There are a few bolt-ons made for the V6 including Roush. But like mentioned the Spintech is a great one.

I just looked on Stage3Motorsports and didn't see the Spintech system.

Spintech website has a duel exhaust ( with Cobra R tips ) for the V6 for $685 but when I asked if it was the 333SCS mufflers were on it or not they emailed back and said it was a 322SCS muffler, same series but 2.25 for the V6.

obvious help...side exits won't have heat shields.....

Make sure the shop avoids the fuel lines and the body enough. They want paid, you don't want a burned up car.
