COIL-OVERS
I know this is asked but still.
The car will be a DD that will make monthly trips to the drag strip, the stock shocks/struts are blown, I'm running the UPR/Eibach prokit/
With that out there I am about to purchase a front col over kit from UPR and wanted some insight.
I will be getting the UPR front coilover kit with lakewood 70/30s, UPR or MM caster/camber plates, and will also be gettin j&m rear lower control arms with lakewood 50/50s.
I need help picking the spring rate up front. Should i go with the:
10"-375lbs
12"-250lbs
12"-350lbs
14"-130lbs

You should get some recommendations from UPR. The length is not really interchangeable. You want the right length for the strut you install. If it calls for a 10" spring, and you install a 14" spring, you will need to compress it 4" just to assemble the strut. That could put you in a coil bind position at full compression, depending on how the parts go together. Focus on matched components here.
Once you know what length you need to use, you need the overall travel of the strut, then the desired ride height. With these, and the weight of the front half of the car, you can do the math. Getting confused yet? I'll save the math for the moment.
UPR should have some base line suggestions, but you will still need to do the numbers to make sure this is right for you. The only other option is to try cloning someone else's installation and hope for good results.
