Lowered my Mustang
Finally. After a couple of years picking out parts and deciding on how to approach it- Its done!
-I used FRPP "B" springs, KYB Foxbody shocks/struts, MM caster camber plates, MM bumpsteer kit, & X-2 balljoints.
Install was long. Got it aligned. The ride comfort is sooo much better than the stock parts. Speed bumps are no drama, highway bumps are absorbed perfect and quiet, cornering feels much safer and much faster.
I got more than a 2" drop as you can see. There's a very slight rake. It turned out just exactly as I had hoped it would. A little luck maybe, but a lot of effort picking parts and putting it together. I'm real happy.

- This job here took me about 11 hours to do. Got to be a bit of a headache when I was past 24+hrs awake. Other than being tired it was definitely a fun job. Nothing complicated, just slow. My first time doing any suspension work.

holy hell you needed a lot of spacers on top of your cc plates! lol.
but yeah i went with coilovers, they are all installed but the spring on the drivers side is rubbing the frame rail a lot, and the car has been aligned. so i guess im going to have to grind some of that away to make room. oh well, ive driven my car like 500 miles this year total because of the install and now i wont drive it because of the spring.
did you have to take your car to anyplace special to get the bumpsteer done or did you do it yourself? because i havent done mine and the shop i thought did, doesnt so i might just buy the bumpsteer kit from maximum. or was the required spacers you needed to put under the tie rod already known so you didnt have to do it?
