I know it need a new one cause i removed it from the car and inspected tie rod ends (inner and outer). The inners were also replaced last year. There is also play on the pinion input of the rack. Outer ends also look good. Rubber seals are even still intact. Did a whole front suspension inspection before i found the play on the pinion to the steering rack. Also dont worry i didnt upset the alignment when i took it off. I disconnected it as a whole unit. Ive rebuilt transmissions, motors, and even rear ends (my god i hate them lol) trust me, i know what im doing lol

Well I need a new rack and pinion for my mustang. I'm looking to try and find a good cheap one. manual or power i don't care just something that will work and not have play in it. my tie rod ends are good they were replaced recently but the rest needs help now. I would consider a used one as well if it were off a fairly low miles car.
Basically I'm asking for help to find a good priced unit. If anyone knows a website or has one they would part with let me know, i would greatly appreciate it.
