Default gears and parts sugs list.

Just bought a Ford LSD for my 02 v6 and I was thinking before I get it put in to buy some 4.10 gears. I know they improve acceleration but I was wondering how it affects 3rd and 4th in an automatic and getting to top speed. Because I spend 50% time on high way. I don't want to be at a rediculas rpm doing 85

Mod list any suggestion would be appreciated

Ford limited slip differential 7.5
Motive 4.10 gears
Accufab 65mm throttle body
Stack racing Cai and sf3 tuner
Gt take off exhaust
Any sugs

4.10 is a little much for highway driving, IMO....I'd go with 3.73 gears.

3k on a neon is not the same as a mustang but its not going to kill it, so youll be fine, it will affect your gas mileage though

4.10's in an auto are just fine. I've been running them for years with no problems. Went out of town tons of time. You don't lose much mpg and the acceleration is well worth it.
