Default OBDII Port losing power

Hey guys I plan on getting boosted this winter. In preperation I got an areoforce inceptor gauge. The problem is every time I shift hard or hit a bump my gauge losses power (it is powered by the OBDII port). This also happened to my tuner. What could be wrong? I have no idea

I'd say you have a loose connection between the port and the gauge.
