What models share cooling fan?
Well last time I posted in this forum I was the proud owner of a 2010 GT... needless to say I had to get rid of it as my money wasn't where it had been.. But I found a nice 1994 v6 5spd for $400 with 150k. It has made several trips between PA and GA so I'm happy with it. Last trip I blew the radiator, turns out it was probably because of electric fan failure. I limped it to Ga with JB weld. Sorry for back story...
I am going to the pull a part this sunday for the fan, they currently have 3 stangs in stock (2 94s and 1 95)... just in cause these are all missing fans... is this part shared with other models? are v8 and v6 the same? Thanks for the info!

Have you actually tested the fan or do you just THINK its the fan? Apply a direct power and ground to the fan and see if it comes on. If it does but doesn't work when the car is starting to overheat then most likely the CCRM is done.
If you go to O'Reily Auto Parts website and look up the fan for your car. Then there is a link you can click on to see what all models use that same part.

94-97 should be the same. The 98 is different (IIRC). I had to find out the hard way, as the fan in my '98 (GT) is different than the earlier models. Just make sure the pins are in the right order on the electrical connection.

Good call on checking the fan, it was okay. I went to the yard today and they didn't have any CCRMs in the mustangs (there was only 2 to pick from). I pulled one off a 94 t-bird with a v-8. The connections are all the same and I couldn't think of a reason the v8 would be different from the v6. thoughts? I am gonna check numbers before i do the swap. If it doesn't work, i also grabbed an extra harness and will simply run a switch for the fan until the correct parts can be found. I also grabbed a set of mustang II seats and mirrors that I'd like to make work so it was a good day!
