No check engine mil and camshaft position sensor
The other day I took my 95 mustang to my career center to use a scan tool since were learning about how to use them... I thought my car was always obdi because its a 95 but wr found an obdii port under the steering column. So we pluged it in and it scanned my car just fine... The only code was a po (power train) for my camshaft position sensor...but I dont even have a check engine light.... My question is , is there a way to fix my check engine mil to work so I know when I have a problem? Also my car runs perfectly so how would the cam sensor be bad? wouldnt it cause a rough idle and stall? Also is it easy to replace? Thanks for any help

You can get a code set due to a one time brain fart of the CPS. The system will keep that fault stored in memory until cleared. It does not mean you have an existing problem. Best bet is to clear the code and recheck it in a couple weeks.

I know this may sound obvious... But have you checked to see if the Check engine light works (comes on when key is turned to accessory)?
It's pretty common for one to either be burned out, or removed because someone doesn't like seeing the light on.
If you throw a code (camshaft sensor), the light should be on.. (my experiance anyway)

Camshaft sensor problem... I have had the same thing on my car, it's very common to have them go out.
Make sure you don't try to change the sensor in the parking lot of your local Autozone.. the bolts holding it on tend to break off!!!! You will either have to drill them out, or replace the whole camshaft synchronizer (think thats what its called.. the shaft that goes down to the camshaft. lol)
My car had no problems running when the light was on for it. The sensor was actually physically busted! and yet the car ran decent.. I am not sure if i noticed a difference when i replaced it.
I would spray some wd40 or penetrating oil several times on the bolts before trying to get them off, couple days worth, just in case..
Good luck

No there's no check engine light when the ignition switch is on so ill check the bulb 2morrow ... On the scanner I checked history codes and the camshaft sensor has come up a lot .... My car perfect though.. the only problem is a slow crank when starting and a really loose throttle body cable . And thanks Michiganman, I will definatly spray wd40 or pb blaster several times lol I had the main bolt break on my tensior pulley... Not fun at all
