Default Just ordered the VAP spacer.

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

Just ordered the VAP spacer and will be installing it this weekend. I'll post the results ASAP.

Next weekend, J-mod! I'll have lots of questions about, hope to hear some help and support from everyone.

Thanks.

Okay, I said this weekend imma install it, but it came in today and i couldnt resist!!! so its in... took 3hrs w/ my wife's help.

results??? well im not too impress. personally, i couldnt feel a difference. it was a 10min test drive. tomorrow morning i'll get a 1hr drive to work and i'll have more time to notice any changes.

Steve (from VAP) said that it takes a few days for the pcm to relearn air/fuel ratio. maybe thats why?

I re-tuned it w/ SCT from BAMA though.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

It was an easy install. I was most worried during the re-tightening of the bolts (didnt use a torque wrench).

Still on schedule for the j-mod.

Heya; welcome to the Forums.

Thats awesome that you already found out about VAP and what they have to offer, most come in not knowing what to do first, they just know they want to do it.

With the upper intake you can get away with not having a torque wrench but I highly recomend renting one the next time your at the auto parts store and just checking your torque in sequence.

There is a sequence that the upper intake is suppose to be torqued down to.

Just double check to be safe.

Make sure to have that torque wrench for the J-Mod.

Post some pics or vids up of your car too when you get a chance.
