1994 3.8 1994 3.8 Mustang White Smoke Exhaust Smells of gas.
This car runs weak and rough. Hardly any power. Stalls at idle after warmed up as if starved for fuel. Quits running momentarily while driving it but begins to run without having to restart it.
Battery light is on. But Alt is putting out 14 Volts+ and battery is holding at 12.6
Pulled plugs and a couple have signs of pre-ignition(burnt spots on insulators), a couple have carbon powder coating and other two seemed fine. No melting of any of plugs. Couple smelled excessively of raw gas but didn't look soaked. No obvious signs of antifreeze(Wet Plugs).
Exhaust water is normal in amount and no anti-freeze smell to it. Though the owner has a leaky radiator and I don't know if he has resorted to just water. Appears to have oil and a tinge of grey to it at exhaust.
Coil was putting out nice spark. Replaced plugs with new. Runs the same and still blowing white smoke.
Timing or head gasket? Or maybe something else.
This is my first post and don't know if your suggestions/ideas will go directly to my E-Mail. It is snkyt@yahoo.com. Any help will be appreciated.

Is it white smoke or water vapor? White smoke means you are running lean, prob a vacuum leak, water vapor prob means a head gasket. Put a white rag over the tail pipe, if the rag is damp after a minute or so, it is water vapor.
Btw, if the alternator is 14V and the battery is 12.6V check the battery and alternator wires and the grounds.
