How would a stock 99-04 V6 stang compare to a 91 GT as far as handling? It was down right awful trying to turn in the 91 GT, I would pull out of my garage and I had to go forward, reverse, go forward, reverse, and then drive away just to get out of the spot behind it because the thing doesn't even turn at low speed. How would a V6 99-04 compare to this? I am considering the V6 but I just don't want anything that sucks to handle like the 91 GT did...

The 94-04 generation does have a wider profile than the foxbody 79-93 platform however I still wouldn't call them great. In stock form Sn-95s can make most u turns and offer decent stability at high speeds. They do suffer bad over steer and upper body sway/pitch when navigating tight turns. This can be vastly reduced by lowering the car and stiffining up the suspension and can be further reduced by putting coil over suspension on the car. S197s still hold the title for best factory handling cars though so if it's just sheer control you want, look at an S197 I can say first hand they make much tighter turns, less prone to over steer, and have less sway/pitch when turning.

Keep in mind that the 2011 Mustang GT with the track package owns several new track records for fastest factory car in it's class, and I don't mean drag racing.

did your '91 not have power steering or something? it sounds like you were having trouble turning the wheel at low speeds. if all you are looking for is power steering then yep the 99-04 cars do. other than that jthorn gave you a quick overlook of the cars
