Not really, all you need is to get a ratchet with an extension and you should be fine, I changed my plugs a couple weeks ago

which spark plug are you having a problem w/? the last two right farthest and all the way in the back right?
oh how much is the shop charging for that service, btw? I think this will be an interesting answer so others who change their own plugs can felt the $$$ savings.
next time you bring it in the shop for a change, maybe you can look and see how the mechanic does it, its a great way to learn from a pro.

I remember my first car..a 74 Corolla. I went to change the plugs one day with plugs in hand and a nice ratchet. Popped the hood...and low and behold the plugs were like 6 inches down in the engine block. Hahaha .Needless to say i didn't change the plugs in that car.
