Default Unknown device in my 1997 Mustangs door panel -

I was just removing my door panel to install some new speakers and in the far bottom corner opposite from the speaker there is maroon box that says "assembled in Mexico" with a large connector running to it, the wiring is as follows: Black, Yellow, Pink, White w/ Black stripe, Red.

There are tags on the wires that say; QC FIRST PIECE, F4ZB 14A128 N1605 (with multiple "AA"s on same tag", and 7D.

The number 970127 is stamped on the side.

Embossed on the side is Ford, PA, Made in Canada, F3LB-14B118-AA, 1

Written in some faded marker on the end of the connector is "A1"

Written in pen on one of the tags is 04-01-94, 15951.

Just wondering what this is and if I need it.

I think its the auto down module, to where your window goes all the
down with just a touch.

Why do you think that?

Its too big and has too many wires for me to think that.

Well, you could always disconnect it and see if the auto down works? I dont know what else it could be down in there to be honest...

It has to do with the window switches it ties the pass window to the driver door switches...or something like that.
I had to put power windows in my ride and i initally left that part off...thats how i figured it out.
it sits under the lock mechanism right...

There it is! I can confirm that this is needed to roll down the window on the drivers side.
