V6 Check Engine Light

V6 Check Engine Light
Hello all,
I am working on a car for a friend of mine. He just bought a V6 1996 mustang. It is a 5 speed manual and has a 3.8L V6. He has a check engine light, I pulled the code and it is a cylinder #6 misfire. I read a column and it said that it could be a spark plug, the spark plug wire, fuel injector or the distributor box. Is there a way to test the fuel injector? I tested the spark plug, seems to be firing ok. I tested the resistance on the wire, seems be inline with the rest. I dont want to have him go and buy a fuel injector if thats not the problem. Is there any way to test it, or should I be testing anything else? The engine also vibrated from left to right quite a bit as well. I could relate this to the misfire, but could it also be the motor mounts?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
