What's under my intake????
Took off and cleaned my air intake today on my 2000 3.8. Its looks like there is a pump of some sort, under my oem intake (behind the RH headlight). Does anyone know what this is that im describing??

It's A.I.R. (Air) Pump. Sits behind the light and kind of in the lower frontal fender well area? Has to do with emissions. My 00 V6 cali model had one. Sometimes you'll hear it working right after you shut the car down.
It's supposed to move fuel vapors into a carbon canister the car has, on shut down to prevent them escaping into the atmosphere.
