Burnout Help??
I'm 16 and i just got a pair of rear wheels with used drag ratials. My dad is mad that i picked these up and claims that i have no use for them since i need 2 more wheels to have a complete matching set. So now i guess im just going to use them for burnouts. Do you think drag ratials will be easier to learn how to burnout?? And can someone explain to me how to do a sweet burnout in my 5-spd?! Lol

Drag radials are for the back of your Mustang only. They give you better traction than street tires when launching at the drag strip. You don't want them on the front. I'm not going to tell you how to do a burnout. I don't want your Dad mad at me!

Drag radials are the worst for doing burn outs. They are soft and wide for lots of traction and will be harder to break loose (even more so with a v6). Also, all stock v6 sn95s have open difs, meaning you'll have a one wheel peel. Just as annoying to dear old pop, but only one line (and uneven tire wear). That being said, Iamgone is right, you should only have two, and if you look at drag cars, many don't have matching front and back wheels
That being said, with a manual you just get your rpms up and dump the clutch. It's not really good for your car (but most things I do with mine aren't).

To cut down on wear on your car, you might want to practice on a gravel (or snow) covered parking lot. Once you get 'em spinnin' you can progress to doughnuts sliding turns, and drifting-harder than you'd think even if it kinda leaves the smell of rice hanging over your car.<G>

Not impossible, but those things are also rather challenging with open dif. It seems like you know your next mod! But I would just go junk yard diving for an 8.8 rear end and find one that came stock with limited slip. It sounds like you are gonna be hard on your car, why upgrade the stock axle if you're just gonna bust it!
I will agree that knowing how your car handles in limited traction is a good lesson to have. I wish I had learned on a track or somewhere safe, but knowing how a car handles sideways has saved me from a few nasty wrecks getting cut off and one likely rollover in a Jeep (hooray ice!) perhaps you can find a local track, churches really don't smile upon use of their parking lots and the last thing needed is johnny law coming down on you for not respecting peoples property.
