The second sensors are your emissions sensors. Increasing the diameter of the pipe while you get rid of the cats essentially fools them into thinking everything is A-OK. Stock pipe where they are located is 1 1/2" so 2 1/4" probably does the trick.

so i just purchased these

theyll create a bit more baffle and potentially slow down the exhaust which might make the whole thing a little deeper & quieter. those high flows arent much more than straight pipe though so I cant really say for sure till you toss them on.

i believe they will make somewhat of a difference, he is right it will make more of an actually tone instead of it being just straight piping. for price too pretty good deal better be safe than sorry when it comes to inspections

I did go straight pipe with the h pipe and flows. Worst idea ever! but i put those hi flows on and it is MUCH better. Louder with the same sound as before. But hopefully by christmas my girlfriend will be getting me the slp loudmouth 1s. I love the sound of them and their loudness.

Loud= bad on a v6, it's going to go back to how it sounded like crap the louder it gets.
