Default clunk or popping noise in the front end

i always try and read back a few pages before askin a question, and i read back to page 13 and didnt see anything on this subject, about a month ago i noticed that when i would back up with the wheels turned all the way, either direction, there would be a popping noise when i was moving, but with the wheels straight, no noise going foreward or reverse, starting like 2 days ago i started noticing a thumping feeling coming from the steering wheel when im going foreward, it seems to do it once every revoloution of the tire(aka it speeds up as the car speeds up), and i can feel it in the floorboard when my foot is on the carpet. I looked online with google and didnt find any answers to my problem, it doesnt stop when i apply the breakseither. any suggestions?

it does it in reverse only when the wheels are cut all the way, not exactly all the way to where you hear the powersteering pump whining, but just before that, and it also does it when im in any gear going foreward, doenst matter if the clutch is in or not, does it either way, and it doesnt matter where the wheel is turned to, i can be going straight down the road and it will still do it. and i cant get going fast enough in reverse in a straight line to notice it doing it in reverse without the wheels turned, but its a differnt noise when im going in reverse, almost like the wheels arnt alligned right.

it could be the cv axels, does the car also jump very slightly along with the pop?

My car did kind of the same thing..sorta. Turned out to be the tie rod ends. Take it to a shop like Les Schwab that we have here in Idaho...they do tires/brakes/alignment/shocks. I ended up having to take mine into a FORD dealer to get this diagnosed but still....the other place did it for free.

Its rear wheel drive, so I'm pretty sure that there are no cv'son the front!
Are your tires balanced on the inside?
Could it be a wheel weight rubbing?
