Exclamation Need a quick response! (about calipers)

I'm replacing rear calipers, bracket, rotors, and pads. I have to get all done by 5 est so I'm in a little rush. Still have to do the other side.

Calipers are refurbished. The piston is all the way in so I didn't think I needed a special tool to screw it in more.

I got it all pieced together then my dad came outside and mentioned that I need to take it back apart to adjust the piston for an "auto adjust" for the brakes and parking brake.

Do I need to do this? And how?

Thanks a lot and Happy Easter!

Your dad may be thinking of the adjuster on drum brakes. Those aren’t needed on disk brakes. There is no adjustment needed. Just install the caliper, bleed the brakes & pump the brake pedal a bunch of times before going for a drive. Good luck...
