got these SVT cobra rims off craigslist last night. was wondering, should my speedometer be alright?t hey are 275/40/17r ...i used my gps to check my MPH, and it seemed ok, so should it be okay? here it is

Nice upgrade. You're speedo will be pretty close with those tires. MAAAYBE 1mph off at highway speeds. Nothing you'll ever notice.

Sweet, looks good, glad you found what you wanted! And set your old wheel next to your new one, if they are the same height overall then your speedo will be fine.

Stock tire size for your GT was 225/55R16 (25.7" tall)

275/40R17 works out to 25.7" as well.

Speedo is unchanged.
