Type of transmission on 02 v6 automatic

Could some one please help me out im looking to do some work on my car but i need to know what type off tranny i have and what speed it is if you guys could help that'd be great.

you should have a 4r70w, it is a 4spd tranny.

It should be a 4r70w, but it should be printed on a sticker on the passenger side of the transmission near the tranny oil pan. Good luck...
