Need some help with possible starter issue
So for the past couple of days my car has been taking a while to start. Today it finally crapped and I can't get it started at all. For starters, when I turn the key over all my gauges reset. The starter solenoid clicks and I'm pretty sure I can hear the starter moving but not sure. I havn't had enough daylight to check the connections to the starter but I have removed everything from the battery except the main stock cables. I have a 590cca interstate battery that is only 6 months old. All other electrical components seem to be working and I cant find anything left on. Right now I'm thinking its either a loose connection on the starter. Bad starer/solenoid. Or possibly the starter relay. Once the car is started it seems to run and function great. Let me know your thoughts, I'm going to get jumper cables as we speak but my battery seems to be fully charged.

New batteries have been know to be defective. If you can, take the battery and have it load tested.
A bad starter will pull very hard on the battery. Turn your lights on and try to start the car. If the lights are very bright but when you hit the key they dim to nothing or go out its likely the starter.
If your lights appear very dim with only a little change when hitting the key its likely the battery.
