O/R H pipe or X pipe?
So I been thinking about deleting the cats on my '00 v6 (no emmisions test where i live.) I already have a Borla S-type catback on it and I'm wanting it to be louder. I would be running the straight pipe from the stock headers to my catback. The problem I have is deciding wether to go with an h-pipe or x-pipe. I've heard the x pipe gives off a raspier tone while the h has a deeper one. If that's the case I'd rather go with an h-pipe. What do u guys think?

Greyshot, I have a V6 and can tell you that catless does sound terrible on our cars. BUT You are right about the X and H pipe setups. I had an x pipe setup and it sounded like crap. I then had an H pipe put on it with 24 in cherry bomb glass pacs installed directly under the cabin area. Now it sounds really awesome, with No drone!

Gee well that changed my mind real quick. I thought cats always robbed power from the emgine n deleting them helped free up power? Is it just the sixxers that sound bad catless cuz I've heard gts tht sound good without em? If I buy free flowing cats will it make it sound better than stock cats?

I did the Mac Pro Chamber on mine and it was beautiful. I put's a steel box the size of a phonebook right where the H would be. Creates a deep complex sound.
However L/T would help mucho because Air-in and out fast is the best you can do with these unless you're going to blow it.
Also they are expensive but any FRPP axil back gives a perfect sound. Purr to a Growl,
and the engine will sound more expensive.

See this is what I was planning on buying but I don't think I am anymore. I don't want my car sounding like **** n just be loud. I want a quality of loudness.
