I want to tear down and sell what I do not need on my 97 v6. I want to turn it into a drag only car not st legal.

I know what all needs to go on the outside. And I know pretty much everything under the hood should go...anything under there I should keep?

With the interior of the car...what should I keep?

Also what else needs to go?

Depends on the kind of "drag racer" you're talking about. Drag racing has multiple classes depending on weight, suspension, tire choice, horse power, etc. You need to look more into what "class" you want to fit in and build the car to those specs.
