I am looking at throttle bodies for my 95 Mustang 3.8 v6 my question is with so many to pick from which would you recommend?

Well I plain on doing all kinds of modification I have a 95 Mustang 3.8 v6 94840 miles mint condition just looking to get more HP she has true dual exhaust straight pipes H pipes and catback system, mac cold air intake, I just finish the accelerator pedal modification, I have horse shoes and rubber on the ordering process the Staggered Bullitt Black Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 17x9/10.5 (94-98 All) so yeah that's where I'm at

Throttle bodies = worthless paperweights, invest elsewhere.

well, the best bang for your buck as far as horsepower would be a split port swap with a windstar intake to top it off.
my 95 blew its heads so i tossed in a 99 3.8 it has 190 hp vs the 140 (+/-) that the 95 3.8 has. also could add gears... 4:10 for auto 3.73 for manual.
those two things made a world of difference for me.

Best advice. Also I agree with above statement of paperweight.


Bigger throttle bodies on these cars are completely useless unless your making ungodly amounts of boost. Which you wouldn't usually because at that budget you'd be building a different motor.

Ok cool thanks that helps me really since I am dying to get my pony some horse shoes, I'm going for the Staggered Bullitt Black Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 17x9/10.5 (94-98 All) which I can't wait to see her with her new shoes.

should look good.
if you do the swap there are several how to's floating around...its not to bad really if your comfortable around and engine.

I do have a Mac cold air intake in her, is that the swap your referring too?

Or the swap with the throttle body? If the throttle body is just a waste of money then I will invest else where.
