Default 99-04 Mustang Stall in Idle and Turns Off (Cold Weather)

Hello, I would first like to say this is my first mustang, I've always wanted one, and finally got one. And i love it, i plan of getting different ones and a bigger engine one day. Black 2003 v6
Now here's the trouble:
There was a major ice storm that hit Texas last week, unfortunately my car got hit with all the effects of that. Now since its 'cold' (i believe) when I start it up, after a couple of minutes or so, it makes this weird squeaking noise and it gets louder and louder then the car shuts off. Boom. Just cuts off. It does it more when preparing to stop at a red light or just idling in the parking lot. It DOES sometimes do it, when I'm actually driving which is scary, the car shakes a bit makes that weird noise and kind of putters, and almost turns off. I've noticed it more when it's at lower RPM's or me not pushing on the gas. And the Check Engine Light is not on which is weird. It does work because the gas was burning to lean or something and I got that fixed, I also got a new heater coil element put in. That's all I have done to the car. It has 147,000 miles and one previous owner garage kept also. I'd love to hear y'all's opinions and tell help me check what might be wrong. Thanks, Shane.
