Default Old Gas in v6 mustang 2000

I've been having car issues for a while, the first one i need to tackle is what to do about the old gas in mustang. It's been sitting for over year and i haven't turn it on. It currently won't start and i'm starting with the first obvious issue, my gas is old.

should i put some sort of octane booster in it and try to turn it on?

or should i siphon the gas out? is that even possible? I've read that recent cars have a siphon guard.

i don't want to drop the tank.

also from doing some research people have said i should look at all my different filters also (air, oil) and check those because letting a car sit for a while will ruin those.

any other advice would be welcomes also.
