A stock auto single port 3.8 prolly won't beat that cavy, just cause it's manual. Plus that one wheel wonder of a rear our v6 comes with doesn't grip for crap at the track (found that out the hard way)

Also with an auto just leave it in drive and stomp it.

I like to drive through the gears myself though. I got mad yesterday and stomped mine some....fishtailed it all over the place a bunch. had fun and released some tension hahaha.

Yep, stock 94-98s are only good for low/mid 16s in the quarter, unfortunately most cars newer than that can beat them.

Why is this even a question? Stock v6 mustangs are slow especially 94-98. They were never made to be fast at all. Just something sporty for women and people that don't know the difference between a v6 and a v8 to drive.

They weren't particularly fast when they came out and time has not been nice to them.

+1 and by modern standards they make 0 sense as they have no value, and cost about the same as a GT from the same year. Insurance doesn't care either as both V6s and GTs from this generation have little value. Only Cobras have decent modern performance and value. I honestly say, if you have 3 cars and one of them is a race car, then sell/trade in the other two and get you a faster/better/more fuel efficient daily driver.

Yeah, kinda pointless to have mutiple v6 from the same year especially if two of them are exactly the same.

I have mutiple mustangs but all different gens and motors and not all are street-able
