How do you disconnect factory alarm system. Car is locked down by the system as far as I can tell. I bought the can and it ran. It will turn over and has fuel pressure, just no fire. Thought coil pack bad, tried 2 of them. I owned Mustangs for years and never had one lock up like this. As far as I can remember or tell, I didn't do anything to make this happen. Talked to former owner, he said it did this once before. Any ideas??

Try disconnecting battery for about 15 minutes or so, do you have the key fob or just the key? You can't really disconnect it without nothing else working.

Key only, tried battery trick. Some one said there was a certain color wire you could ground and it would go off. The green wire, purple trace is what they said, no such wire there. The wire was supposed to be in the drivers kick panel. It said to ground it and alarm would go off. who knows!!!

Try this, in the trunk on driver side under the lining there should be a box with a grey plug I believe, that's the brain for the alarm as well as the antenna, unplug that and see what happens.

There is a box there, unplugged it and fuel pump did not come one. Tried to start, engine just turned over. There has to be a way to bypass the factory alarm. I have a 2003 convertible and 2006 convertible. On the 03, I am having trouble getting it to recognize the remote. Did the key thing 9 times and lock cycled and would not recognize the remote . Battery good, tried another remote no go. On the 06, person that owned it before me was a woman. She let trash and water go down the rear wells and was full of water, gone thru hell getting it cleaned out. Did the cowl drain also. Carpet ruined, ordered new carpet from Auto Custom carpet and it was too little. Reordered and hope they made it larger this time. It was to short from side to side and not deep enough in the back corners. I am 70 years old and have owned Stangs since new. These 3 are giving me more trouble than any before. HELP
