Default Help please! buying mustang and need help!

Hi I'm looking into this 2001 mustang it's a v6. I recently went and test drove it, everything runs fine except it needs a aligned and new tires on the front. Now my problem is that when I started to reverse it made a nasty grinding noise in the front right tire area. It does it when I'm accelerating from a stop too. The noise goes away after I begin to get up to around 5 mph. Could it bee a ball joint, wheel bearings? Or what? The noise stops when the car stops. Could getting the tires and aligning it fix the problem? Sorry if I'm not including something that I should be as this is my first post. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I would say wheel bearing or brakes are hung up.
Its not a terrible job. If it were me i would have both sides checked out.

Agreed...Wheel bearing of brakes (caliper stuck or pads shot - or both). Not too bad to fix with a free afternoon and some basic hand tools.
I'd suggest new tires AFTER fixing the issue.
