Default Anyone just got bored of the car?

Brought this car a year and half ago...pretty excited to tune it up, do a lot of stuff to the car, make it into a machine, save up a lot of $$$ and SC it, and then eventually I realized (no offense guys I have a V6 too) "Wow...this really is just a V6. It's nothing special."

And I got bored of it. Stripped the car off parts I've had on it, and sold and is now just completely bone stock with duals. I'll sell it in a year hopefully, and go get a C5 Z06, or a GT 5.0 within financing. What a shame..

Anyone felt this way?

Yes. I got bored with my white car. A year later, I'm mad I sold it.
Now I'm bored of the black car. I just don't have time to get on the track. It's hard seeing it just sit there un-used.

It happens to everyone at some point. I've been through 8 different Mustangs in 10 years. All listed in my sig (2 97s TBW). Now I'm eyeballing either a lightly used 13/14 5.0 or a Shelby. Not sure on which yet.

This is why I always go for the biggest hp I can afford. I hunger for hp and acceleration. I have driven cars that have over 550hp to the wheels, and it just never seems like enough. lol I have a plan with my car over the next 2 years that, hopefully, will help with that, but it involves forced induction.

On a final note, you have to really know what you want. Every car has both stock and modded potential. Anything with forced induction or a Turbo will be more "tunable" than most N/A cars. So you have to decide, what do you want, will it be enough stock, what is the tuning/modding potential, how far are you willing to go or spend, what mods give you the best bang for the buck, and have you done enough research to know those answers for sure?

BTW, did you ever SC it? If so, why SC instead of Turbo?

I wouldn't say I got bored with my 2012, just decided I needed a truck. Well to make a long story short I bought a 2013 F150 5.0 within a month of doing that I knew I messed up. Six months later and Im back in a mustang. Thank GOD!!
