Yes you read right I have a 02 V6 with a 5 spd and the clutch is wiped out in it (disclaimer: not by me lol), What would it take to put an auto tranny and what would I need to do this as far as parts? Reason being is im tired of shifting and my wife would also like to drive the car as well and she has no interest in a standard.

Sell your car buy one with an auto.

This will be cheapest. Swapping from manual to auto involves a whole lot of wiring and computer swapping. And if you do find these parts cheap enough then they are prolly not in good condition.

Actually if you can find an auto car, with a blown motor then you could swap your good motor into it.
