Default New issue with passive anti-theft

I recently purchased a 94 Mustang street custom that was converted from a 6 cyl.to a built 351W motor w/Richmond 5-speed and RideTech air suspension (retirement hobby).

It has run great all spring and today after a drive, I went to start it to put in garage and no ignition? All lights, turn signals, radio etc work. It has an external fuel pump with dash switch and that works as well, until I turn the ignition key and it is then disabled along with no spark or starter. I disconnected the battery for 30 min., and when I hooked it back up, the alarm went off with lights and horns. I have checked all the fuses and everything looks fine.

Should I suspect that its a bad anti-theft module in the trunk?

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Sounds like something aftermarket..... That's gonna be hard for us to help you with. I can't imagine they would go through all that work and wire everything back into a factory alarm.

I'm pretty sure that it's the stock security system.....I opened the driver side trunk cover and the anti-theft box and keyless remote pin connector are there and the wiring harness does not look like it has been tampered with.

Tonight I am going to hook up the battery again and try to short out the pin connector per instructions I found here to try to re-sync the keyless remote.

Default Anti Theft light blinking no start

I drove my car all day, went to go to the store and the anti theft light started blinking fast. No fuel pump sound coming from the back, car just turning over. I reset the fuel button in the trunk unhooked the computer cluster under the hood passenger side near fire wall. its a square looking cluster goes to the car computer. unhooked the battery. the fuse box under the hood third fuse from the end fender side was blown. Its the big fuse 30 amp. Changed it hooked battery and computer back up. car started. Its worth a try before you spend the big bucks. same thing happened to my expedition and it worked. Good luck to you.
