Default central locking

I have a 1999 v6 and was wondering if there is some way to have both doors unlock with the key in the drivers door rather than have to open the passenger door with the unlock switch on the armrest ?? some way to redo the wiring ?? thanks

Since the key manually unlocks the drivers door not electronically you would have to completely rewire the car so the key activates a electronic button to tell both doors to unlock, kind of how the key fob works

Why not just use the key fob?
