Default 3.8L performance camshafts

Im building a 3.8 for my 1998 car and im looking for a good cam. has anyne used this one? comp cams direct replacement without doing valve springs and without tuning.

the heads are at the machine shop now, so i could have them throw some springs on it for a better cam... what is the best way to tune these engines?

Without the specs of the cam listed it's impossible to know what kind of effect it'll have. When I see "stock or factory replacement" that generally means the product is made to resemble factory settings, meaning little to no increase.

For tuning you need a dyno, a guy that knows how to tune, and your own tuner.
