Default Sagging door, Rubbing on Fender

1999 Mustang.

Hey everyone, long time no see. Hope everyone is well

Anyways My drivers side door recently started sagging. Its sagging so much that I am unable to open the door without it rubbing against my fender as well as part of the sideskirt. I've done some research and it seems like the pin and bushing kit may fix the problem but they don't sell one for my year. Has anyone dealt with this before?

I'm hoping I don't have to buy a complete new set of hinges. But should I have to, I will. Also, If anyone could shed some light on how difficult the installation would be, to let me know!

Thanks alot fellas

What a turd. Hey man you need a new hinge pin and bushing set. The part number is Dorman 38438 door hinge pins. I just bought a set for my 1998. The V6 section is not the best place to post this thread my friend.

I don't think the 99-04 cars have separate hinge pins.

Make sure the bolts didn't just loosen up on you. Otherwise it sounds like new hinges are in order

When you go to replace them make sure you have two people as the doors are heavy and replace one at a time so you keep it aligned somewhat.

A tip for doing this one person, use an a frame ladder and straddle the door with it, run a strap from one side of the ladder to the other under the door and put some tension on it. But besides that, I dont beleive the pins are replaceable on the 99-04 cars.
