Default 2001 Ford Mustang Speakers.

Ive had my ford mustang since 2000 because it was purchased new. I recently started to notice that the speakers were going out and some are sounding like crap. Theese speakers were the original stock ones. Currently i have 2 non functioning speakers in my car. I was looking forward into purchasing the Pioneer TS-A6885R. But i dont know how to install them. If you can please provide me with instructions on how to do it.

I currently have the 2001 Ford Mustang GT convertible.

This may help . The other system..the MACH 460 ...makes it hell to change out parts unless you do the entire system. Since it is the normal stereo you should be ok just getting some speakers to fit. I think they are 6x8.

I had another site with even more info but wasn't able to find it right away.

The stock speakers for the mach 460 are pretty decent though. Whenever mine decided to go out im just going to replace them with oe speakers.
