...or rather removing the old one.

Doing a replacment of my power steering rack. Leaks like none other.

Everything is unbolted and unfastened, and I cannot get the rack unattached to the steering linkage.

I undid that bolt. Its still stuck on there.

Options?

Considering starting it up and moving the wheel just enough to maybe break the thing loose? Or is that an outright terrible idea?

The entire rack at this point is only hooked up to the lines and the steering wheel.
