I recently bought a Msd Coil Pack for my 2000 v6 Mustang. I started noticing some accelerartion hesitation after i installed it, I dont know if it may be faulty or i just need to get the Msd wires and it will fix itself. The hesitation happens sometimes not all the time but enough where i worry my car wont go anywhere. From a complete stop i press the gas and it barely speeds up and the rpm starts spiking. I have a sr performance CAI in the mustang. Any help would be great! I did look in the threads i could not find anything like my problem.

I've never been impressed with any of the aftermarket coils on the V6. People usually end up going back to the OEM Motorcraft part.

If the rpm is spiking that sounds like the trans slipping. If the coil was acting up the rpms would stay low or drop out during the hesitation. The engine wouldn't rev up if it was missing that bad.
