Default Hello - First Post - Questions regarding ignition and starting the vehicle

I've got a 97 mustang 2d coupe v6 (manual) - I currently cannot find the key and in the process of moving from my family home - passing it back and forth; I no longer can recall it's whereabouts.

So I called a Ford Dealer ship and my vin number is older than the database goes back. So they can't make me a key, and my mustang has the chip so they want to take the ignition out etc and rekey the vehicle for $430ish. I bought the car in 05, and it came with a clicker, and it was a POS - for some reason I tossed it, so I've been thinking since then this car must setup for a clicker. So I was actually going along the train of thought why not set it up for keyfob with a start button in the vehicle.

My friends are telling me regardless I need the key for the ignition. Is there a way I can make it completely keyless? I was looking at those viper starter kits, and the $200 one with an app for my phone + fobs sounds like a good point to look at.

So right now, I'm not sure what direction to take as far as the ignition goes. I don't have very much mechanical knowledge but I don't have much issue follow directions. I got Chilton manual and I've taken the ignition apart before. Which I will probably have to do again to replace my heater core.

The main point I want to stress (if possible) in my post is I want to be completely keyless and not need a key for the ignition what so ever. I'd even like to pull the locks out of the doors and weld them closed to be honest.

Any opinions and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Smart Key RFID Car Alarm System W push button start

If you go to ebay and type that in, that's kinda what I'm talking about. I want that button where the key would go into the ignition.
