Default Weird clunking noise

Hello,
I have a 2003 V6 Mustang and today I heard some weird clunking noise/vibration on the rear left wheel, when turning left. I have no clue to what it is... the tire is fine and the bolts are fine. i can drive straight perfectly fine but when turning left i heard a loud hitting clunking noise!
Any ideas to what this could be?

Could be the spider gears in the rear end. What about turning to the right?

I agree, it sounds like the spider gears in the diff. They are pretty easy to replace as long as there anything else damaged in the diff. I made a video of how I replaced the spider gears in my wifey’s mustang differential and posted it on my YouTube channel. Its the same procedure for a 7.5 & 8.8 rear end. Slightly different if you have a limited slip diff though. The gears cost around $120 from rockauto.com, if memory serves.
