1999 radio amp

It is on top of the transmission tunnel, at the base of the dash, near the firewall at very front of the console. When you unplug it, the output harness will actually match the stereo adapter harness.

Metra makes an adapter harness so you can hook up an aftermarket receiver to run it off the factory amp which in turn will power the speakers. There is also an adapter harness they make that can be used to bypass the factory amp altogether. You will need the correct adapter harness either way unless you want to butcher the factory wiring in the car and try to figure out which wires go to where. If you search the web or crutchfield you will find the harness needed.

It worked
Sorry it took me so long to respond , I finally found the amp it's not easy to get out . ordered a Amp jumper plug. A Scosche FD15B , it worked on the radio side but the speaker side would not go in the plug, so I cut all the plastic on the jumper and adjusted the pins so they matched up and pushed them together. Taped up all the plugs , and the radio works great

Yeah, it doesn't come out easily unless you have the console out. When I bypassed mine back in 2000, I just unplugged the harness and used the bypass cable. It wasn't until I put in new carpet after a top leak that I tanked that little bugger out.
