Car won't crank, makes clicking noise

It's fixed! It was a poor ground connection because we put a washer between the wire and the ground and apparently that washer had a high resistance and prevented the connection. Thanks for all the help everyone I can't tell you how much I appreciate it

I'm curious as to how you found the problem. Did you go back to that cable because you put a washer on it, or did you find it through the voltage drop method?

I started to trace the wires and I decided to just try removing the washer because that was the only change I made to the wiring and it fixed it
