Default My Moms 2004 40th Anniversary P/V

This is my Moms 2004 40th anniversary V6. It's been stock since the day she bought it from Sarasota Ford 11 years ago. Last month, we decide to modify it. We are getting somewhere but, still not close to being finished. Special thank you to Latemodel Restoration, Ford Mustang, and Ford Motor Company.

Nice looking 04.

What did you trim the exhaust openings with?

I used a Dremel tool with cut off wheel and sandpaper bit. I made a quickie template in the parking lot where I founded a GT. The templates I made are the same size as the GT's actual opening and not the molded inward part. I noticed the tails kind of line up to the opening. After cutting the bumper and myself I forgot to take a pictures. The sander bit worked out great! I ended up making the opening about 8mm smaller than originally thought. Paint was smooth, and not one thought of regret. Afterwards, thinking door edge guard would add some flare and look more finished.

Start with a smaller opening and work you way out!

About 5 and a quarter

After the fact lines.

OMG, What am I doing?

Wham bam thank you, Ma'am. But hanging a little low on this side.
